Sitelinks

By Paul Brock·Updated on 22-04-2026
TL;DR

Sitelinks are extra internal links Google shows under your main result for branded queries, typical for large brands or strong sites.

Sitelinks are fully auto-generated — you can't directly request them. Google decides based on site structure, navigation consistency, internal linking and query intent. Branded queries ('webrock media') usually get them; generic far less. For many brands, sitelinks signal healthy SEO fundamentals.

Example

Search your brand in Google. See 4-6 direct internal links under the main result (Contact, Services, Blog, About)? Then Google has assigned sitelinks.
