SEO Expert — Bitcoin & Fintech Specialist

Job description

As SEO Expert at Webrock Media you are responsible for the organic growth of our clients in the Bitcoin, AI and Fintech sector. You perform technical audits, build keyword strategies, optimise content and monitor ranking developments. You understand why a Bitcoin hardware site works differently from a regular webshop, and why YMYL guidelines are essential for crypto clients.

You are not just a technical specialist — you are also an expert in the markets our clients operate in. You follow Bitcoin price developments, understand how DeFi protocols work, know what the Lightning Network is, and can translate crypto jargon into SEO strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting technical SEO audits (Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexing)
  • Keyword research and content planning for Bitcoin/fintech audiences
  • On-page optimisation and structured data implementation
  • Link building in the crypto/fintech niche
  • GEO optimisation (AI search queries) — we will train you in this
  • Reporting via Google Search Console, GA4 and Semrush
  • Consulting with clients on strategy and results

Your profile

  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrable SEO experience
  • Strong technical SEO knowledge (HTML, Core Web Vitals, schema.org)
  • YOU ARE CRAZY ABOUT BITCOIN AND CRYPTO — this is not a side note but a hard requirement. You follow the market daily, understand the technology, and can write about it as an expert
  • Knowledge of the DeFi, blockchain and/or fintech space
  • Experience with Semrush, Ahrefs or similar tools
  • You understand YMYL guidelines and E-E-A-T
  • Good communication in English (Dutch is a plus)
  • Analytically minded and data-driven

SEA Expert / Google Ads Specialist — Bitcoin & Fintech

Job description

As SEA Expert at Webrock Media you are responsible for Google Ads campaigns for our clients in the Bitcoin, AI and Fintech sector. You manage Search, Display and Performance Max campaigns, optimise bidding strategies and report on ROI. You know that advertising in the crypto space presents different challenges than standard B2C campaigns — from Google's advertising policy for crypto to finding the right audience for hardware wallets or fintech SaaS.

Just as with our SEO specialist: you need to understand the market to succeed in it. Someone who doesn't know what a Bitcoin halving is, or doesn't understand why people buy a hardware wallet, cannot properly serve our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and managing Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Performance Max, Shopping)
  • Keyword strategy and ad copy for Bitcoin/fintech audiences
  • Bid strategy optimisation and budget management
  • A/B testing of ad variants
  • Setting up and monitoring conversion tracking (GA4, Google Tag Manager)
  • Reporting on ROI, CPC, ROAS and other KPIs
  • Navigating Google's restrictive advertising policy for crypto — a specialism in itself

Your profile

  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrable Google Ads experience
  • Google Ads certification is a plus
  • YOU ARE CRAZY ABOUT BITCOIN AND CRYPTO — sector knowledge is a hard requirement here too. You know what miners are, what DeFi is, how exchanges work, and why the halving is relevant to client buying behaviour
  • Knowledge of Google's advertising policy for financial products and crypto
  • Experience with conversion tracking in GA4 and GTM
  • Analytically strong: you read data, draw conclusions and act accordingly
  • Good communication skills in English
