Topic cluster
A topic cluster is a group of interlinked pages around one central topic, usually one pillar page plus multiple supporting articles.
Topic clusters are the architectural foundation of topical authority. One pillar page (broad overview) links to ten to twenty cluster pages (in-depth sub-topics). Clusters link to each other and back to the pillar. Result: a network helping search engines understand the topic as a whole and positioning your domain as expert.
Example
Pillar: 'Bitcoin mining'. Clusters: 'What is an ASIC', 'What is halving', 'How mining pools work', 'Break-even hashrate'. Each cluster links to pillar and two siblings.
