Gemini
Gemini is Google's family of multimodal foundation models, introduced December 2023, natively handling text, images, audio and video.
Gemini comes in variants: Nano (on-device), Flash (fast/cheap), Pro (balanced) and Ultra/Advanced (top quality). It powers Google's AI Overviews, AI Mode, Workspace integrations (Docs, Gmail, Meet) and the Gemini app. Strengths: multimodality, long context (up to 2M tokens), Google Search integration. For GEO Gemini is critical: it determines who gets cited in Google's AI answers.
